Character Bio

Name: Hotchka Koma
Age: 21
Height: 5'8"
Weight: 128 pounds
Birth Date: September 8
Personality: Kindly person and very determined. She tends to get focused on only one thing at a time and so sometimes seems cold to others when they interrupt her. However her incredible focus begets a lot of progress, she's able to enjoy the little details, and is a great problem solver. On the other hand, multitasking is impossible, and she often gets lost in projects neglecting sleep and social communication. Frustration also follows her closely. She gets very frustrated very easily when things dont work the way they should or when people dont do what they're supposed to. A stickler for rules and regulation and believes whole heartedly in the power of science.
Background: Born in the former firenation's capital island, Hotchka grew up in a quickly industrializing city. Her parents both firebenders were both important leaders in the city's military. However unlike her younger brother Hotchka was born without being able to firebend.
Expectations were held high in the household and being unable to compete with her brother, a young prodigy, she finished out schooling in the city and then left for Republic city at the age of 16. Ignorant to the rising equalist-bender tension arising in the city, Hotchka applied for the first job she could find: working in an equalist underground factory.
Assuming it was just a regular factory, Hotchka quickly garnered respect around the area as she discovered a talent for invention. Mechanics became her specialty and she was promoted to be one of the workers in the think tank subsequently working out kinks in equalists electrically charged gloves and the motorcycles, one of which she has personally and tests new upgrades on.
Hotchka still keeps in contact with her brother through letters and the occasional radio call.

Tips:

1. Cover her stomach. A lot of OCs do this and the original series doesn't need a character to show off her midriff to be pretty. Try to keep the fashion as canon as possible or else the OC just looks plain stupid (and also makes her look "easy" if you know what I mean).

2. Orange hair isn't genetically possible in the Avatar universe. Perhaps make it a warm brown shade mixed with orange.

Other that that, everything else is great. : D

You make a really good point. I'll try and modify the clothing (I never was too good at that part haha) and look at the hair again
Thanks for the tips they make sense and are appreciated

There doesn't seem to be anything out of the ordinary for this OC. She's got a healthy weight for her height. Though I'm kinda wondering on her nationality? I mean generally speaking, if she's Caucasian then her height makes sense. But if she's Asian, then she might be too tall. From the picture, she looks to be Caucasian decent, but I could be wrong since her name doesn't sound as such.

Her personality's believable. It's got equal flaws and strengths, so she's balanced out. Nothing wrong with her background either.

Though what is her current plot in the LoK series? Why is she there, what does she bring to the plot etc? Things like these could really make your character interesting if the story is well thought out.
